Cold and windy and beautiful - we made the trip to Laikipia to see Giza zuri - Swahili for "beautiful darkness" and ended up seeing her and so much more. This is the black leopard - a rare recessive gene that causes excess melanin production - you can still see her spots under the darkness if you look closely.
